Complete removal of blue / black tattoo pigment
The number of sessions depends on various factors like the size, age and type of ink used for the tattoo. Each session is spaced several weeks apart to allow your skin to heal and the ink to fade naturally. We would recommend a minimum of 4 sessions to fade a tattoo considerably, for complete removal numerous additional sessions would be required.
Prices start from £75 and is confirmed on consultation. The initial consultation is complimentary at which a patch test is performed to ensure suitability.
the area may be raised, swollen and bruised with a white crusting over the top of the tattoo. This is completely normal and is caused by the rapid heating of the skin. This "frosting" effect is a sign that the laser is effectively breaking down the tattoo ink.
For safe tattoo removal it must be at least 6 months old.
Your practitioner will go through all necessary aftercare following your treatment. Generally the area should be kept clean and dry. Sun exposure must be avoided to reduce the chance of pigmentation changes, avoid picking the area and avoid strenuous activity for the first 24-48 hours as sweating may irritate the area.
