MediLUX works by delivering specific wavelengths of light to the skin, where they are absorbed by targeted cells. This process triggers a range of responses — from killing acne bacteria to stimulating collagen and reducing inflammation. Each colour has its own function:

Blue Light: Targets acne-causing bacteria and helps prevent breakouts

Green Light: Calms irritated skin and strengthens capillaries

Yellow Light: Boosts hydration and soothes redness

Red Light: Stimulates circulation and collagen for anti-ageing

Near-Infrared (NR): Promotes deep healing and regeneration

Your MediLUX treatment will begin with a consultation to assess your skin and select the ideal wavelength(s). You’ll relax under the LED panels wearing protective eyewear, while the light does the work. The experience is completely pain-free and even soothing for many clients.

Each session lasts 20 minutes, and a course of treatments is recommended for best results.

There is no downtime following MediLUX. You can return to your normal activities immediately, and even apply makeup if desired.

We recommend a series of treatments (typically 6–8) spaced weekly for optimal results. LED therapy also pairs beautifully with other treatments, including facials, microneedling and skin peels, to enhance outcomes and support skin recovery.
