Dr John Curran is the Lead Physician and Medical Director of the Aesthetic Skin Clinics. With experience in aesthetic medicine spanning over 20 years, John is one of just five doctors to be elected to Fellow of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine, by his colleagues. He has also served as President of the College and currently represents the College as Chair of the Ethics Committee.
He is a leader in his field, and is renowned amongst his colleagues for his astute research into new developments and technologies in the field of cosmetic dermatology.
A respected and highly accredited physician, Dr Curran specialises in cosmetic dermatology, cosmetic surgical procedures and other non-surgical therapies. He has a particular interest in Skin health, anti-ageing solutions, radiofrequency-based devices, laser treatments and dermatological surgery.
John is the Medical Director and founder of the acclaimed Healthxchange Academy in Manchester, renowned internationally for providing postgraduate education for doctors and nursing professionals in aesthetic dermatology and he has introduced this academic rigour to the Aesthetic Skin Clinic ensuring that the very best techniques and standards are delivered to patients by all of the dynamic medical and nursing staff.
In addition to being much loved by his patients, John is a beauty editor favourite. The prestigious Tatler’s ‘Beauty and Cosmetic Surgery Guide’ have named Dr Curran in consecutive years as one of the UK’s 30 most sought after cosmetic surgeons and Doctors. He has been referred to as ‘ the Channel islands best kept secret’ and ‘A genius at correcting sun damage’ stating that he “rigorously researches, and only cherry-picks machines that are proven to work.” Bringing the very latest aesthetic medical advances to the Aesthetic Skin Clinic, the clinic is continually improving and progressing, achieving great results for our patients.
Dr Curran is regularly featured in aesthetic medical journals, where he is involved in monitoring and setting industry standards through the Committee.
Mr Liaquat Verjee is a Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeon with private practice on Harley Street and the Channel Islands. Liaquat provides expertise in a comprehensive range of Cosmetic Surgery and is committed to providing world class healthcare. He has acquired extensive experience from several leading national and international centres and with recognised experts in Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery.
Liaquat worked in the NHS as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at St. Andrews Centre in Chelmsford, one of the largest centres for Plastic Surgery and Burns in the UK. He holds degrees in Medicine, Surgery, and Psychology from GKT (Guys, Kings & St. Thomas’) Medical School, Kings College London. Following broad general surgical training he specialised in Plastic Surgery culminating in Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England FRCS(Plast). He has also been awarded a PhD from Imperial College London and an Executive MBA from London Business School.
Liaquat is a full member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS). His clinical interests include cosmetic eyelid and facelift surgery (with volume restoration using latest refined fat grafting techniques), breast reshaping (breast implants, lifting, reduction), and body contouring (tummy tuck, liposuction, upper arm lifts, post weight loss surgery).
In addition to his clinical career, Liaquat is also an established academic. Following the award of his PhD in 2010 was subsequently appointed Clinical Academic Lecturer in Plastic Surgery. He has been a regular speaker at national and international conferences, won numerous prizes and competitive grants, and published papers in both clinical and high impact scientific journals. His research has generated prestigious funding from the Scar Free Foundation and the Academy of Medical Sciences. This has formed the basis of Plastic Surgery clinical trials currently being conducted at Oxford University.
In his spare time, Liaquat is a keen artist and sculptor.
Dr McEntee is well-respected in the field of dermatology and is involved in teaching GP Registrars in Belfast and Antrim GPs on Dermatology. Her dermatology experience spans over 14 years. Dr McEntee is a member of the BACD and Primary Care Dermatology Society and has completed advanced professional courses in Laser, Botulinum Toxin, Microdermabrasion, Skinceuticals – cosmeceuticals, Skinceuticals – gel peels, Injection of Restylane / Dermal Fillers, Microsclerotherapy, and Core of Knowledge. Dr. McEntee runs a successful clinic in Belfast., and is well-liked by her colleagues and clients.

Dr Tania Laverde-Konig has spent 18 years in healthcare, the last 12, working as an Ophthalmologist in Jersey General Hospital, with a particular interest in Oculo plastic. Over the past (four) years, Dr Laverde-Konig has developed a great interest in cosmetic medicine with focus in anti-ageing solutions for the face and the peri-orbital area.
Dr Laverde-Konig has developed her aesthetic skills training with internationally recognised cosmetic eye-face experts in forums such as the Oculo-Facial Aesthetic Academy (OFFA). In her evolving career as a cosmetic practitioner, she offers nonsurgical cosmetic treatments including basic and advanced Botulinum Toxin, Dermal fillers and Profhilo. With a surgical background, Dr Laverde-Konig performs surgical removal of nonmalignant skin lesions such moles and skin tags from eyelids, face and body.
Dr. Natalia Gibb earned her medical degree from the best private Medical School in Mexico and a Masters degree in Medical Genetics from Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid, Spain. Since then, Dr. Natalia has been working as a General Practitioner and Aesthetic Doctor.
Dr. Natalia’s interest in Aesthetic Medicine has led to her completing post-graduate qualifications in Non-Surgical Facial Rejuvenation and Aesthetic Medical Procedures in while studying in Miami, Florida. While in Miami, Dr. Natalia qualified in the application of BOTOX Cosmetic, Dysport, Restylane family of dermal fillers and Thermage CPT Skin Tightening.
Dr. Natalia then worked as an Aesthetic Doctor aboard Princess Cruises where she treated many high profile guests and celebrities while travelling the world.
Since moving to Jersey, Dr. Natalia has completed further post-graduate qualifications in Aesthetics, such as Intracel, Ultracel Q+ HIFU, Laser Treatments, Hydra Facial, Envy Facial, Obagi Blue Radiance Skin Peel and Obagi Skincare System. Dr Natalia is currently working carrying out treatments and assisting Dr John Curran, and is in the process of gaining her British medical license from the British General Medical Council.
Since joining our team at the Aesthetic Skin Clinic, Hayley Jordan has worked tirelessly to enhance and extend her skill set and expertise as a cosmetic medical nurse practitioner. Not only does Hayley see a full patient list at our busy clinics, she heads our nursing services and is the Director of Medical Governance at the practice, following a first class honours degree in Law.
Expanding her skill base from an early surgical back round, Hayley has developed extensive skills, knowledge and experience in the aesthetics arena. Her specialties are in advanced medical skin care; medical lasers and is extremely skilled in our skin tightening technologies such as Thermage, Intracel and the new multi platform Ultracel, which is proving to be one of the most effective non-surgical ‘facelift’ techniques available. Hayley also finds time to lecture at the ‘state of the art’ Healthxchange academy in Manchester and is involved, as part of an academic forum, in developing protocols for a wide range of clinical treatments for the aesthetic dermatology medical community.
Having previously worked in the Health Service as a registered nurse in Merseyside and Guernsey, Joyce contributes to our Guernsey team, performing Soprano hair removal treatment, IPL and laser treatments, Hydrafacial, tattoo removal and Obagi skincare systems. An absolute hit with our patients, Joyce excels in the delivery of these treatments.
A qualified practice nurse, Tania leads the surgical nursing department. She supports our Cosmetic Surgeon and Dermatologist ensuring excellence in pre-operative and post operative care. Her experience and skills ensure that the results and recovery from surgical procedures are optimised. She is also fully trained on the Obagi skincare systems and provides additional support to our Obagi team.
Alexis is a registered nurse with a first class honours degree in adult nursing. She is trained in a variety of skin-tightening, rejuvenating and resurfacing treatments such as Fraxel, Intracel, Ultracel, Obagi Radiance Peel and both Hydrafacial and Diamond Glow. She is also qualified in Soprano Laser Hair Removal and Cristal Cryolipolysis Fat Freezing.
In addition to supporting our Cosmetic Surgeon, Alexis is a certified Direct Hair Implantation Hairloss Assessment Consultant. Suitable for both men and women, DHI offers the most advanced hair-transplant technique available plus platelet-rich plasma treatments to strengthen hair follicles and assist their longevity.
Starting her career as a registered nurse and midwife, Carole has been a dedicated healthcare provider for 30 years. As well as assisting with surgical cases and aftercare, she is highly experienced in Soprano hair removal, Obagi skincare consultations, tattoo removal, Visia skin assessments, Hydrafacial and Fraxel treatments.
Jessica is an Aesthetic Therapist and Nursing Assistant. She has had a passion for the Aesthetics industry having graduated from Chichester College with a HND in Beauty Therapy Sciences in 2010. Since joining, Jessica has completed various Laser and Light Therapy qualifications. She is experienced in skin consultations, Obagi medical systems, chemical peels, HydraFacials, Soprano hair removal, IPL skin rejuvenation, fat reduction and body sculpting using state of the art freezing techniques.
Anne is the Nurse Manager, based at our Belfast Clinic. She has advanced surgical nursing skills, and experience at nursing management level. Anne always adopts a holistic style of nursing ensuring all of the patients needs are met. At the Belfast Clinic, she performs IPL Skin Rejuvenation, IPL Hair removal, Hydrafacial, Cristal Cryolipolysis fat freezing and is also trained as a specialist Obagi Skin Care Consultant. She also performs the stunning Obagi Blue Radiance Peel.
Charlotte joined our team as an Aesthetic therapist having been in the beauty industry since 2015 and has always had a keen interest in the world of Aesthetics.
Having graduated from Guernsey College of Further Education in Beauty Therapy she went on to work in a well-established beauty salon. Charlotte is experienced in HydraFacials, Soprano laser hair removal and Cristal Fat Freezing. Since joining us she has quickly gained knowledge in Obagi medical systems and fat reduction and body sculpting using state of the art freezing techniques.
