Minor Surgery: Cryotherapy

Many lumps and blemishes can be removed in the surgery with minimal discomfort, excellent healing and no scarring. Depending on the lesion to be removed, various minimally invasive techniques can be used.

Crusty areas of skin that appear known as solar keratosis can be removed using cryotherapy. This is a technique used to freeze the cells and destroy them so that they do not return. This technique requires skill and experience to avoid blistering and swelling and should be performed by an experienced physician.
