A respected senior member of the medical community, Dr. Curran specialises in cosmetic dermatological, medical and surgical procedures and personally oversees the addition of all treatments that are offered by the Clinics. He is known professionally for this role in the education of cosmetic medical practitioners. Dr Curran has served as a Council member, Chief Examiner and the Past President for the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors (BACD). He is one of only five doctors recognized for his contribution to cosmetic medicine by being elected to Fellowship of the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors. He also lectures regularly on aesthetic medicine, is published in leading Cosmetic Medicine Journals and is involved in monitoring and setting industry standards through the Committee. His experience of cosmetic procedures span over 15 years. Dr. Curran has special interests in skin ageing, radio frequency, laser treatments and dermatological surgery.
Dr. Curran has extensive experience in performing the full range of cosmetic dermatological and medical treatments including, Advanced use of Botulinum Toxin, Hyperhidrosis management, Dermal Hydration Therapy/Fillers, Microsclerotherapy/Vein Treatments, Minor Surgery, Lipotherapy, Fraxel, Thermage, Skin Rejuvenation, Skin Care, and deep medical Peels.
Dr. Curran in his role as Senior Physican of the Aesthetic Skin Clinic, mentors the medical team at all clinics.
Mr. Nick Percival, FRCS (PLAS)
The Aesthetic Skin Clinic is pleased to have a professional association with Mr. Nick Percival, FRCS (PLAS), who is our resident Cosmetic Surgeon.
Mr. Nick Percival is one of the foremost cosmetic surgeons in the UK (Tatler magazine). A specialist in modern facelift techniques, he was one of the first surgeons to employ the minimal access cranial suspension (MACS) face-lifting technique. He is an international expert in facial rejuvenation, lecturing widely in the UK and internationally. Medically trained at UCL in London and a post-graduate lecturer and Stanford University in the US, he is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and is a member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, BAAPS. He was formally a consultant plastic surgeon at the NHS Charing Cross Hospital and is co-founder of the Institute of Cosmetic and Re-constructive Surgery, which trains young surgeons to undertake cosmetic procedures.
He has appeared on best selling TV programmes, Extreme Makeover, Make Me Perfect and Cosmetic Surgery School. He is also a regular contributor to TV programmes, magazines, newspaper articles and cosmetic surgery journals.
He undertakes a wide range of cosmetic surgery procedures, including breast augmentation, body contouring, rhinoplasty and facial rejuvenation, using a combination of surgical and minimally invasive techniques for a more comprehensive and sophisticated result.
